Valley City’s Street Fair and Frog Jump Festival to be on the same weekend!  These two major summertime events traditionally have been on separate August weekends.  This year they will combine.  The Firemen’s Association will hold the Street Fair as before on Center Road, Friday through Sunday.  The Valley City Community Group will hold the Frog Jump as before at Mill Stream Park on Sunday, August 20.  The two planning committees are working together and expect to announce some exciting new changes.
Ever been to a Frog Jump? Here is your chance! The purpose of the Frog Jump Festival is to have a thoroughly enjoyable family fun day for the community and visitors.  The measure of success comes when kids, parents and grandparents leave happy at the end of the day, satisfied, with full tummies and glad they attended again this year.  Some are lucky enough to be carrying one or more trophies.  You can bring your own frog or rent one once you arrive.  Come early, get registered and have a fun time.  The Frog Jump Festival will be held at Mill Stream Park, 1250 Maple Street in Valley City, Ohio.  Registration begins at 10am.
