Bicycling is becoming one the fastest-growing activities in the country and Northern Ohio has been keeping up the pace by boasting numerous bicycle trails for the weekend enthusiast, to enjoy a family ride and/or for the adventurous road warrior. Looking to challenge yourself? Why not check out some of our state park's dedicated mountain bike trails.

Join the thousands of riders who take to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park every year . The park offers a ride array of topography for the beginner to the more advanced. The scenery and wildlife makes every ride extra special.

Greenway Corridor Bike Trail (Route 84 & Liberty Street, Painesville 44077
Lake Metroparks 4.8 mile-long paved trail features a width of 10 feet allowing for two lanes of foot and bike traffic. Horses are also allowed to use the trail. Southern section connects with Geauga Park Bike Trail.

Offers a $3 fare for bicyclists?


Whether you are a confident cyclist or a pint-sized learner with training wheels, you can ride your way to better health. Bike Aboard! allows cyclists to bike the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail in one direction and ride the train in the other. Summer schedule - trains operate Wednesday through Sundays through the end of October.
