Butterfly House
The Butterfly House is a 4000 sq. ft. aviary located at the Perry's Cave Family Fun Center. The aviary boasts over 500 different types of exotic butterflies from all over the world. A 5000 sq. ft. gift shop is attached to the butterfly house and contains all types of butterfly figurines, jewelry, books, garden items and more.

Glacial Grooves - Kelleys Island
The Glacial Grooves on the north side of Kelleys Island are the largest easily accessible such grooves in the world. They were scoured into solid limestone bedrock about 18,000 years ago by the great ice sheet which covered part of North America.

Heineman Winery & Crystal Cave

The Restless, Put-In-Bay-Cruises
The 1938 tug Restless gives a relaxing one and a half hour tour of the
bay, along the cottage-lined west shore of South Bass Island, and past
Middle Bass Island, home of Lonz Winery. The fare is $65 per person,
with a two person minimum, for up to six passengers. Light snacks, soda,
water and ice are provided. Reservations and more information can be

Put-in-Bay Pooch Parade
Registration will start at 10am at the Gazebo in the downtown DeRivera Park. The parade begins at 10:30am. Children from the audience will carry American flags and lead the bow-wows in a half circle around the picturesque DeRivera Park.
Judges will pick the cutest dog, the biggest dog, the smallest dog, the best dressed dog, the dog that looks most like its owner, the most talented dog, individual best dressed dog, group best dressed dogs, and most unique. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category, but ALL dogs will receive a special “doggie bag” of gifts and treats.Entry fee is $10 per dog. All dogs and owners are invited. Proceeds benefit Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Pirate Fest Weekend - Put-in-Bay
Costumed characters, chantey son sing-a-longs, black powder demonstrations and general skullduggery. Adult Costume Contest, Kid's Costume Contest, Kid's Programs, coardboard Boat Races, Pirate Trial/Walk the Plank, and a Pirate Marketplace with general pirate wears for the kids, leather goods, hats, jewelry and pirate accessories. Also souvenir tee and collectable coin. Fireworks on Saturday at dusk.
