Describing the fall tour, Guthrie said, "It's being called 'The Arlo Guthrie - Alice's Restaurant - Back By Popular Demand Tour.' That's about the longest name for a tour we've ever had. This time, we're celebrating the 50th anniversary of the movie 'Alice's Restaurant,' which was released in 1969. We're also including references to the other major event of my life in 1969 - Woodstock. But, it's not all backward looking."

Heritage Center Hosts Community Trivia NightDate: November 2, 2018
Time: 6-8:30pm
Location: Oberlin History Center

Round up a team of players – or plan to come on your own – to test your knowledge of pop culture particulars, sports specifics, musical mysteries, and more. There will be some Oberlin oddities thrown in, of course, but don't worry if you are new to the area – the majority of questions are not related to Oberlin, and the answers to the ones that are will likely sound familiar! See if you can de-throne the reigning champions – the "Lightning Rods" of Oberlin's Ben Franklin/Mindfair store. WOBL/WDLW'S morning show host Super Dave Andrews will serve as emcee. The evening includes food, side games, raffles, prizes, and plenty of fun. Advance registration is encouraged.

The Oberlin Heritage Center's family-friendly community-wide event takes place from 6-8:30 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) on Friday, November 2 at The First Church in Oberlin, UCC's Fellowship Hall (106 North Main Street).
